“LUCKY LETTER “G”"

I was at the shelter today a friend of mine mentioned a location …. Another friend actually passed me the LM (thank you Misty and Vel) ….

I went there unassuming looking around, not really finding too many things of interest …. but there it was the lucky letter “G” , jumped on it and won this oh, so lovely outfit! (I am the happy owner of a tail and ears, and a whole Neko outfit, even PUNK, who could ask for more)! Went home tried it on, just for ffs, and what does Kevin do? He clicks my tail …. well, I figured you got something you won, not scripted, so wrong I was …..

I own a tail, and ears …. and IT IS WRONG! Bows her head in shame …… *ashes over her head* …….

In Loving Memory of Scooter

Today 2 years ago, my dog Scooter passed away. I miss you my furry friend. You will never be forgotten.

He was 10 years old when I had to let him go, brought him back from Mississippi …., still remembered him when he was only 9 weeks old, the size of a small rabbit. Yes, he ended up with one eye, he lost it one when he got hit by a car, being only two years old (DRAMA). He never had issues with that, he was a great companion, and he is missed. But for some reason Harley found me and I have yet another truly wonderful dog. (That will never pose! And still does not want to eat dry food).

So, I have decided last week-end that Harley (2 year old Havanese-Yorkie-Mix) needs to be put on dry food rather than omg shoot me, Ceasar.

I went to the pet store, I had a nice lady recommending some food (made in Italy, Holistic and very healthy). I got some samples, and bought a bag. Oh please, I put it in his bowl, he sniffs and looks at me….. “Why are you doing this? Where is my food?” …… Major guilt trip. Harley knows where the wet food is still stored, stands up on his hind legs and knocks on the cabinet….. annoying the heck out of me, then the whining omg he is a MASTER at whining …… and after that high pitched yelps….  I am having a hard time not to break down ……. He owns me.

But this time I am going to stay firm *hopes*

Sascha’s Design

Sascha Frangilli owner and designer of Sascha’s Design is one of the most accomplished Designers in SL that I had the pleasure to meet.  From the Netherlands, she is a very down to earth person with a great sense of humor!

Her dresses are designed beautifully and her textures look very realistic.  Sasha creates mostly women formal dresses and gowns. She has shown lately that she has the ability to design casual outfits, such as jeans, sweaters, and even swim/beachwear. What is so great about her store, is the incredible selection of dresses, and outfits. No matter when you go and visit the store, there is always something new.

Down below you see Sas’s newest creation, it is called Caffe, in 4 different colors, and many options! I am kind of partial to the red

Sometimes wonderful things happen

A couple of weeks ago, actually right before I went to Canada, my ugly old closet felt the need to tell me that I have way too many clothes………  I mean it actually yelled that at me by showing a  broken pole that held all my coats and jackets, gowns and… and ……. So of course, I knew once I get back from my trip I would have to address that situation. No, obviously I did not want to spend a whole lot of money on a new one, as I will be moving anyways, and I really do not plan on shipping all my furniture. North America is blessed with Walk in Closets…. I mentioned the issue at work to my co-worker a lady in her 50’s that has been very helpful and kind to me in the past. (Not saying that we do not have our occasional issues). She was getting rid of her old closet. The next morning she gave me the measurements and sure enough…it was perfect!

Last night her and her husband, whom I met for the first time brought it to me, they put it together for me not really letting me help. I was just so happy, because I have already wondered who I could call to help me with getting it up the stairs and most of all putting it together so that the doors would actually close. (My floors are incredibly uneven…. one of the joys of living in an old house).

It was lovely to see these two working together, I have always wondered if she would be “bossy” around her husband, but none of that. They were a team, and even though “the man” put the doors on back-wards (why does this always happen)? she just laughed, called him darling….. it was really nice to see that. If that would have been my parents…. LOL, (they love each other dearly, married for almost 50 years now, but whole different dynamics) it would have sounded more like that: “NO! NOT THAT WAY! I told you so! Why don’t you ever listen!”

Before they left, I gave her a little envelope with a card and something inside for them to spend on their next vacation. They refused, I had to beg for them to take it. She looked at me and said: “We are so happy we could help you out. It was a pleasure”.

So this afternoon I took off from work to put my clothes back in my new “old” closet. Let’s put it this way I filled so far six 35 L (check on gallons on the converter) garbage bags with things I will never wear again! YAY!!!!!!! I cleaned my INVENTORY! Not so sure if one calls it organized….

I need to rant!

I think I am a decent person (O.K. my thoughts), I try to help out where I can. This is about money, we all know it does not grow on trees, we all so wish it would. My landlord is a great person, I really like him (go back to “Band Practice”). He is unable to drive due to a health condition. I get his smokes, I always have an extra stash, it is completely fine with me, I go to the grocery store, I can get them. He throws me CHF 300.00 a month, which means he always back pays, there is always more cigarettes then what he pays me. I write it down. Right now he owes me 700.00 plus, yes I am an Idiot. *face palms* “epic ones” as Misty would say. I try to give him a break, I buy his beer, because he let’s my dog out during the day…. But today I just felt, this was all wrong, so I talked to him, and he said “Now way I owe that much for cigarettes”. I know he cannot pay them so I deducted another CHF 200.00 (about US 180.00). I am just mad! Mad at me, mad at him, hell I am PISSED! I told him from now on I will have some extras here, but the others he needed to worry about himself! We will have a conversation about this subject this week-end….with me showing him the receipts…., but omg that is where my savings are going! Kevin, love? Can I pleas move? I want to be an arse, and think of myself!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas (or so I thought)!

Well, I guess Sweethearts ain’t Vegas……

It all started with Kevin and I going to Sweethearts to dance…. it was so laggy at that place it took about 15 minutes for things to rez. For whatever reason I kind of got bored and I am saying to Kevin I am going to attach my gun. “WHAT IN HERE”? Look of horror on his face….. “THE GUN” an nifty little attachment a friend once gave me for target practicing…. Oh goody Sas is online, so I passed her a copy of “THE GUN”. Next thing I know she wants a TP…. so being the good friend I am, I figured why not. At the same time Kevin TP’s Vel… (yes, I am sure she just wanted to make sure things did not get out of control…… Ha!) I think if we would have gotten banned it would have been because of Sas’s hair, I mean what was she thinking!

Well that is basically it, the rest you can read on Vel’s blog…it is almost the truth…..but please don’t forget who has a “Penis Folder”.

Another day at the Office in the Summer Time No. 2

Well, enough is enough…. temperatures have been climbing as it is not cooling down anymore during the night….. So needless to say not only is it hot in the office, the air is hmmmmmmz let’s say not “febreeze” quality either. One of my colleges brought a table fan, nice, big, and very cheap but it does the job of stirring the air (not good air) around, and gives one the illusion of a breeze ( a luke warm breeze). So I thought O.K., Gabs needs a table Fan…..

Went out to lunch, bought myself a nice salad then went looking for something that would suit me….. I knew exactly what it needed to be, a nice cheap table Fan, just like the one the my friend has. Well, I am at the grocery store, I don’t have hours to spend to go shopping, (and it takes time at the grocery store… because all the retired people, find it necessary to get their weekly grocery shopping done during lunch time). I  normally get my lunch hurry back and read my book. So I go to household items…. and there I saw it….. the most beautiful fan I have ever seen. I walked passed it looked around for something regular…. and CHEAP,  did not see anything, walked back and just stood there. It was like SL, click and buy! I have the sexiest fan in the building and it actually WORKS as well! Do you want to know what the best thing about the whole thing is? Well my store card that accumulates points… well I had enough points to buy that thing without even spending any money from my wallet… (well yes, I could have changed the points into flier miles… but…. but…..). I HAVE A SEXY FAN! (Omg I am so shallow).

Houston we have a problem……

Here it goes…. despite of warnings from Misty and Vel….  I let the chickens and the Rooster mate (never caught them in the act… sneaky little buggers)! (Benedict is one angry rooster and I guess rather productive so was Chardonnay and Omelette). I had to delete the chicks……. The Sim status was erm not good…..

So Doomed, Oops, and Accident had to go SL-Chicken Heaven, may they rest in peace.

Another day at the office in the Summer time

I love Switzerland, it is a great country. We have great infrastructure and for the most part we are up to date with the rest of the world (or advanced, sorry I am biased).

However, and here is the the kicker, WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN AIR CONDITIONING! Sorry, what is wrong with air conditioning…..NOTHING! My office is very modern, has been remodeled last year, big nice windows, so you can see out. Nice in the winter. In the summer a total different story. Temperature today 28 C° / 83 F. This has just been the first really warm day since I am back, so even though we all sweat like piggies (excuse me, women do not sweat they glow…glowed like pigs), tomorrow will be hell. It will get up to 31 C° / 90 F or more by the end of the week. Now, I do not know about you, but how can you be productive when it is that hot! I got up several times from my place and stood in the copy-room, now that one has AC! For some funny reason there seems to be a lot of people gathering in there in the afternoon, wonders why.

Anyway, wonders what to wear tomorrow, and thinks of taking an ice pack along and a bucket of water to put under the desk to put the feet in.
